- LogAnalytics is based on Client/Server technology. Internet Explorer acts as the client of server part and is used for Diagram Viewing/Editing (Editing in Gold and Premium versions only).
The server part performs main job for collections and processing log data and provides all configurations in full. - Server part
After the server part start (or rebooting), you will see an icon on the task-bar (the picture of a diagram usually next to a clock). Left mouse button click will activate the main program dialog. Right mouse button click will activate the program's main menu. -
There are three main dialogs in the server part of the program - Diagrams (List of all available diagrams)
- Datasources (List on available source of log data
- Setting (User manager and server options)
- Client Part (Web Browser)
- Internet Explorer is used to view or manager the diagrams remotely from any network connected to server running computer place or over the Internet.
