- What is the Access Service
- If you need to publish information, photos, press releases and so worldwide, you have to use a special third party service, a web hosting, a photo sharing, a press release distributing and so on. Moreover, each time you change the information or add new photos to your album, you need to upload or manage anyhow else the content, which is located remotely. The Access Service allows you to share worldwide images and documents directly from you desktop computer or mobile device.
- The common problem is that any service located directly on your computer/PDA requires incoming connections allowed. In other words, the computer/PDA has to serve incoming requests to deliver the local information to worldwide. That kind of the access is expected non-secure and so blocked by windows firewall, by firewall embedded into your home internet connection device or modem, by your internet provider and by your (corporate) network policy. Technically, providing your computer/PDA with the incoming access is a complex or unsolvable task.
- Fortunately, the problem has been solved for the access to MobileWebServer. The Access Service gives you the way to reach MobileWebServer from worldwide without the use of incoming connection at all. As the result, the access is secure and does not require to solve any firewall/policy related problem. Moreover, it is free.
